These isotonic transducers are suitable for investigating isotonic contractions of isolated organs and tissue, and measuring small displacements in physiological preparations.
Low-cost, strain force gauge based force transducers, suitable for measuring muscle contractions or similar forces such as in isolated tissue-organ bath experiments in teaching applications.
A range of force transducers are available
The Respiratory Belt Transducer contains a piezo-electric device that responds linearly to changes in length. It measures changes in thoracic or abdominal circumference during respiration. These measurements can indicate inhalation, expiration and breathing strength and can be used to derive breathing rate.
A pre-calibrated ready-to-use strain gauge based isometric dynamometer with a linear response in the 0 - 800 N range. When force is applied to the metal bars an output calibrated in units of Newtons can be recorded in LabChart. A green LED on the connector housing indicates the transducer is receiving power and is ready for use.
The Q-S222 Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) Sensor measures the psycho-galvanic reflex.
When powered by +2 volts or more, LUME provides an output voltage signal proportional to incident light over the visible to near infra red spectrum
Different transducer bodies can be exchanged and set and zeroed to the same bridge amplifier at the touch of a button. After a simple calibration with an appropriate weight, the system is ready to use.
This rigid-lever force transducer transforms applied force into proportional voltage. Using balanced strain gauges, FORT transducers produce linear output voltage vs.
Clamp the handle of the FORT transducer in a horizontal position and apply the forces to be measured to a rivet or hook mounted in the hole at the end of the flat sensing leaf.
The Pulsemaster™ (Model A300) is WPI's third generation, multichannel, pulse/train generator/stimulator that combines the superb accuracy of digital electronics with the you-see-what-you-get displays only available on single-channel products.
The A310 pulse generator/stimulator combines the reproducibility and accuracy of digital electronics with the fine resolution and continuous adjustment pos si ble with analog circuitry.
WPI offers a broad variety of standard and custom single monopolar, concentric, and stereotrode designs in a variety of tip profile and metal combinations.
Software-controlled, constant-current stimulators. Two options allow for use in vitro with isolated samples, or in vivo for human nerve and muscle stimulation studies.

The Universal Kymograph has a spindle 320 x 19 mm OD (12-1/2 x 3/4 in OD) for mounting a cylinder not included.
Modular amplifier gives power to and amplifies signals from the Harvard Apparatus range of transducers (Isotonic, Isometric, Pressure and Potentiometric). Directly connects to data acquisition systems.
