Gold Microelectrodes

• The electroactive core is completely surrounded by glass. Therefore, the electrodes can be used in strong acids and aggressive organic solvents. The electroactive diameter is either 1 or 10 µm, with RG values of approximately 1 and 3 µm, respectively. The RG value is the ratio of the total tip radius over the radius of the electroactive disk. The length of the electrode is approximately 8 cm. The electrode can be connected to a preamplifier with a HEKA Microelectrode Holder (d=2.0 mm).
