This temperature controller is designed to maintain animal's body temperature at a pre-set target value during anesthesia. A thermistor probe provides feedback to the controller with the animal's body temperature. The controller adjusts current to the heating pad as needed to maintain the desired body temperature. It can put directly on the experiment table(cannot put on a irony table), or on RWD Small Animal Anesthesia Operation Platform(68620),or Adjustable Stage Platform(68604, 68607). The circuit is well designed without electrical noise and is good for long time electrophysiology study.
