Implantable Fiber Optic Cannula

Thorlabs' Implantable Fiber Optic Cannulae are ideal for use with our line of Optogenetics Equipment. They all have a Ø2.5 mm ferrule; our Ø200 µm core multimode fiber is available with a numerical aperture (NA) of 0.22, 0.39, or 0.50, while our Ø300 µm and Ø400 µm core multimode fiber has an NA of 0.39. Choose from fiber lengths of 2, 5, 10, or 20 mm. Our cannulae can be surgically implanted using stereotactic guidance, and the stainless steel ferrule is easy to score for better adherence when implanted and fixated with glue. We also offer Cannulae with Ceramic Ferrules. In addition, we offer Uncleaved Implantable Fiber Optic Cannulae, designed to be cleaved to a length of the user's choice.
