  • Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are compact, energy-efficient light sources that can emit light over a wide range of wavelengths. Thorlabs offers unmounted LEDs for center wavelengths from 245 nm to 4.5 µm. Many of the UV LEDs are available with the choice of an integrated window or ball lens. Unmounted LEDs are packaged in a variety of TO-can style housings, including T-1 3/4, TO-18, TO-39, and TO-18R. Post-mountable and SM-threaded passive mounts, as well as a socket for LEDs, are sold separately below.
